These ceramic baking beans by Tala Prevent help prevent air bubbles and shrinkage during baking. The container comes with enough to make a 32cm flan. Simply prick the uncooked pastry with a fork, cover with baking paper and fill with a layer of beans and then blind bake as usual. When the beans are cool, you can hand wash them in soapy water, dry and store until you make your next pastry.
