Patrick Valent and his partner make these magnificent platters for us in their hill top pottery in Provence. It requires amazing skill to hand turn such large platters which are up to 48 cm in diameter. Their beautiful decorations are in the ancient tradition of 'terre vernissee' which dates to Roman times. Patterns and colours vary so you may wish to choose a piece in one of our stores. Avoid using with wet foods as this can cause discolouration. Clean with a damp cloth. Made in France.
