Hand-decorated Tableware
Terre Marbrée
Terre Marbrée, or 'marbled earth', is Divertimenti's newest artisan acquisition. This beautiful range of tableware is formed using coloured French clays, blended together by hand. The subsequent marbling effect acts as a decorative echo of the potter's wheel, redolent with life and motion.View the Terre Marbrée range.
Potterie Galtié
Patrick Galtié has been an artist and potter since the 1980’s. Today his Provence-based, Potterie Galtié produces outstanding hand-painted glazed pieces. He keeps production small (only employing eleven highly trained artisans) so he can maintain the highest standards. He is inspired, he says, by the light and colours of the Mediterranean, Japanese design and Matisse. The result is tableware that you’ll want to collect and treasure for years to come.View the Patrick Galtie range.
Patrick Valent
Patrick Valent and his partner make these hand-turned and painted pieces for us in their hill top pottery in Provence. It requires amazing skill to create and paint these pieces. Their beautiful decorations are in the ancient tradition of 'terre vernissee' which dates to Roman times. Made in France. A Divertimenti exclusive.View the Patrick Valent range.
