About Cookery School

The Divertimenti Cookery School offers a range of classes for novice and experienced cooks alike. Our two London locations are at 33-34 Marylebone High Street, W1 and 227-229 Brompton Road, SW3. Click here for directions.

At the Marylebone High Street school, classes take place in a beautifully designed kitchen theatre equipped with the finest appliances and TV screens so students can enjoy all of the action. At Brompton Road there is a cookery theatre for both demonstration and hands-on classes. Smaller, more intimate classes take place around the new La Cornue cookery island where students have an opportunity to interact with the chefs and see them working up close.

The class schedule represents a world tour of cuisines from Thai to Tuscan with each class taught by an expert in the field. There are also multi-part courses such as Cooking with Confidence and for the time pressed, there are one-hour lunchtime classes.*

In each class, students receive copies of the recipes, tastings of the dishes and a 10% discount for shopping afterwards. Demonstration classes take up to 32 people or smaller groups of up to 12 for hands-on lessons.

For wine enthusiasts, there is a Divertimenti Wine School. Tastings last approximately two hours and are accompanied by tasting notes and specially selected cheeses. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal with guidance to help discern both good value wines as well as the classic vintages.
