Delivery & Returns
For Deliveries to the UK and Northern Ireland:
For orders up to £74.99 there will be a standard charge of £5.50 for delivery.
For orders £75 and over delivery is free.
For Deliveries to EU countries:
A standard shipping fee will be calculated automatically at the basket stage of the ordering process. If you are ordering a small number of items we may be able to offer a different delivery service. Please contact webenquiries@divertimenti.co.uk for more information.
For Deliveries to other International Countries:
When you place your order you will need to make two separate payments...
1. Purchase your order now online and select your destination country – you will be exempt from any shipping charges at this point in the process.
2. Following the receipt of this order we will email you the balance of delivery charge required for your destination within 2-5 working days.
3. Upon receipt of your agreement, we will arrange for the balance of the delivery charge to be debited to your card through the online secure payment system over the telephone. (Please note that as we do not keep a record of your card details from the first transaction, we will need to process the second payment over the telephone.)
NB: Should you decide the delivery cost is unacceptable or for any other reason wish to cancel the order prior to dispatch of the goods, we will immediately refund the full value of any payments that you have made.
Refund of UK Sales Tax (VAT):
An important factor when ordering from outside the EU is that we are able to refund the amount of VAT that is incurred by you when ordering goods from us. We are able to refund this to you because we are exporting goods to you to a destination outside of the EU. The rate that is refundable is 16.67% of the prices shown on our web site. Generally food and books are exempt from this tax.
Once you have paid for the goods and the items are dispatched to you and in the hands of the shippers we are then able to make the refund to you through the online secure payment system. We do not need to know any of your card details. Please get in contact with us upon receipt of the goods to claim your refund.
Delivery Time:
We aim to dispatch orders within 14 days but this may take longer due to the specialised nature of some of our products and unpredictable demand (many are made by small craft workshops in remote places and some of our suppliers are based overseas). In this event we will contact you to advise you of the situation and receive your instructions.
Once your order has left our warehouse you will be provided with a unique tracking code to follow the parcel's progress. Please note the code will be valid as soon as the item has passed its first checkpoint on its journey to your specified delivery address.
Divertimenti Refund Guarantee:
We are happy to give a full refund or replacement for goods found to be unsatisfactory. When selecting products we always put quality before price and inspect every item prior to dispatch. If for any reason you are not satisfied with an item purchased at our on-line shop, please return the goods unused within 21 days, together with the purchase invoice, for a full refund or replacement. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Divertimenti will not refund the dispatch cost of goods returned from outside of the UK.
We will not refund any non-stock items (i.e. items not included in our stock database) that we have sourced and ordered especially for you.
