Example Cook and Dine Evening
A Cook and Dine Event is a unique opportunity for you and your group to learn new cooking techniques by preparing a 3-course meal under the expert guidance of a Divertimenti chef. It's excellent for team-building or as a fun outing for your group. The minimum number for a Cook and Dine Event is 10 and the maximum is 24.A typical evening would include:
6:15 p.m
Your guests arrive and are greeted by our team and given nametags, an apron, a welcome glass of wine or soft drink and canapés from Café Divertimenti.
6:30 p.m
An introduction to the evening's menu - created specially for your group - and a short cookery demonstration and/or briefing by the Divertimenti chef(s).
7:00 p.m
The group is broken into teams and participants are shown to their work stations and begin their specific cooking tasks.
9:00 p.m
Guests finish their cooking and go upstairs where the Café is laid out for dinner. Dinner is served by Divertimenti staff.
10:15 p.m
Dinner finishes and 'joke prizes' can be awarded or you may choose to have points awarded throughout the evening with a prize to the winning team. Chef's hats can be provided for guests to wear during the evening. If you should require a team prize for your guests then please let us know as this can be arranged at extra cost.
Guests leave from 10:30pm onwards.
