This is a perfect medium sized pan for general use in the kitchen. Its 5 — ply construction makes it perfect for preparing and mixing delicate sauces where precise control over temperature is vital. The stainless steel interior can withstand the use of metal utensils and the whole pan can be put into the oven for gentle simmering making it ideal for Aga owners. Both the main pan handle and the helper handle at the front of the pan are artistically sculpted. The helper handle makes lifting and draining a full pan much easier. The artichoke on the lid is hand cast and silver plated which adds individuality to this exceptional pan.
Ruffoni Opus Prima Stainless Steel
After many years of producing the most decorative, high quality copper cookware in Italy; Ruffoni have turned their skills towards making a range of stainless steel pots and pans. Each piece in Opus collection is made of laminated metal consisting of an inner and outer shell of mirror polished stainless steel and three inner layers of aluminium each of a different grade and density. This five ply construction ensures that the pan heats up completely evenly without hot spots and that the heat travels evenly up the sides of the pan. Ruffoni Opus cookware is suitable for use on any type of hob including induction hobs or Agas. It can be transferred from the hob to the oven for total versatility and cleaned in the dishwasher after use.
The hand crafted knobs on the lids of the Ruffoni Opus cookware are an attractive and striking feature. Each one is individually cast in solid brass and silver plated. The Opus series stainless steel pans have a traditional hammered finish just like Ruffoni copper cookware which gives each piece in the Opus series its unique individual charm. Every piece of Ruffoni Opus cookware is stamped with its own individual serial number to guarantee its authenticity.
