All the ease and versatility of a Santoku knife but in a smaller, easier to handle size; the 14cm Wusthof Santoku knife is a superb addition to any knife set. While this knife is ideal for preparing finely sliced Asian ingredients it's also brilliant for use with western cuisine.
The depth of the blade gives the knife the power to cut root vegetables with ease while the rounded point is ideal for fine dicing. The rectangular shape makes it easy to scoop up your chopped ingredients and transfer them to the pan. The hollows ground into the face of the blade create pockets of air which help prevent thin slices of food from sticking to the blade. The reduction in friction between the knife and the food means that the blade will glide through the food with greater ease. This is a great benefit when you are using the knife for fine accurate slicing. The flat cutting edge and deep blade make this knife very easy to handle and guide so you'll chop like a pro.
