South Kensington Tasting & Cooking Adventure
Join author and TV chef Celia Brooks for a Saturday morning of tasting and food shopping in South Ken, culminating in a collaborative feast created from ingredients purchased that morning.
You’ll meet Celia at a lovely local cafe for coffee and morning treats before setting off for the farmers’ market. Here you’ll have a chance to meet the market traders, taste and choose ingredients for lunch.
There's a thrilling selection of exquisite organic dairy products and cheeses, freshly harvested fruit and veg, artisan products such as fresh pasta and sauces, bakery goods including bread and sweet and savoury pies, and prepared traiteur dishes.
There will be a couple of extra stops at local shops for food tastings before we head back to Divertimenti to pool our ideas and cook and assemble our spontaneous lunch, which we will then sit down and enjoy together with wine. It’s a great opportunity to get to know the local area and enjoy a fast, fresh and fabulous feast with some fellow food enthusiasts.
