Global GF — 31 16cm Boning Knife
Using hard Japanese steel to make a traditional European stiff boning knife is a fantastic combination of eastern and western technology and the Global boning knife is an outstanding example. The GF series boning knife has a thick stiff blade intended for heavy duty work in professional kitchens and butcheries. The fine upturned point allow you to stroke meat from the bone with ease using a natural curved cutting motion while the traditional butchers heel lets you snip the trussing cord for neatly tied rolls of meat. The Global GF series handle is rounded like the G series provides a good grip and is seamless for easy cleaning and excellent hygiene. It tapers gently towards the blade for comfortable handling. On this boning knife a conventional full bolster has been included to make the knife more comfortable to hold over extended periods of use. Global GF Series The Global GF series knives all have strong powerful drop forged blades which are a little thicker and heavier than the lighter G series. These knives are intended for heavy duty use in professional kitchens. The handles are hollow and contain sand which gives precise control over the balance and poise of the knife.
